Ferdinand Weeser-Krell war der Sohn des Malers und Ingenieurs Jakob Weeser-Krell (1843 - 1903). Zusammen gelten sie als bedeutende Vertreter der Industriemalerei. Oftmals aus der Vogelperspektive gemalt, fertigten sie repräsentative Gemälde von Industrieanlagen vor allem für die Selbstinszenierung von Unternehmen an.

Ferdinand Weeser-Krell was the son of the painter and engineer Jakob Weeser-Krell (1843 - 1903). Together they are regarded as important representatives of industrial painting. Often executed from a bird's-eye view, they created representative paintings of industrial facilities, which were particularly used for the self-presentation of companies.
