SHAKESPEARE, WILLIAM The Plays of... London, Printed for F.C. and J. Rivington [etc.], 1805. First Fuseli edition. Ten volumes, full contemporary calf, black spine labels. Ten inches (25 cm). Various paginations. A large (and possibly large-paper) copy, with 38 plates after Fuseli, two of which (in volumes 7 and 10) are engraved by William Blake Spines dry, labels a bit chipped, some cracking along joints, occasional minor paper discoloration. * BUNBURY, HENRY. Twenty-two plates illustrative of interesting scenes in the plays of Shakespeare. London: J. Nichols & Sons [etc.], n.d., but circa 1800. Three-quarters morocco, marbled sides. 21 inches (54 cm). Title and twenty-two plates (including frontispiece), interleaved with blanks. Some binding wear, minor paper toning; * Together with two other works including Shakespeare illustrated (1793), and A series of engravings to illustrate the works of Shakespeare (1817). The Blake plates in the first work are listed by G.E. Bentley Blake Books 498C. Provenance: Collection of Lincoln Kirstein
