Öl/Holz, 34 x 24,5 cm, l. u. sign. R. Arredondo Toledo. - Spanischer Landschafts- und Figurenmaler. Nach erster Ausbildung im Atelier von M. Moreno studierte A. in Madrid und Barcelona. Dank einer Erbschaft unabhängig bereiste er Europa. Seine Ansichten von Toledo mit ihrer an Spitzweg erinnernden Romantik erfreuten sich besonders in Deutschland großer Beliebtheit. Oil/wood, 34 x 24,5 cm, lo. le. sign. R. Arredondo Toledo. - Spanish landscape and figure painter. A. was initially taught painting in the studio of M. Moreno before he studied at the Madrid and Barcelona academies. Financially independent thanky to a heritage he travelled Europe.
