Fragile ties perfectly preserved. With fold. engraved prize certificate awarded to Herico Petro de Pauw, dated 1750, signed in pen by the Haarlem Latin school board members P. Van den Broeck, D.V. Helmont and others. Spoelder, Haarlem 1 and p. 591: "Op 28 februari 1709 besloten curatoren "een bequaam plaetje te doen bereijden, en sulx met vergult op de beijde de sijden der boeken doen drukken." Met dit "plaatje"wordt wordt hoogstwaarschijnlijk het plaatstempel van type 1 bedoeld (...)". On: Polyaeni Stretegematum libric octo.
