A combination of a small theatre and exhibition gallery, the space quickly became a meeting place for Paris' young, avant-garde artistic community. This poster is an excellent historical document that highlights just how important and influential an artistic spot La Bodiniere was. The poster advertises a one-day appearance by Yvette Guilbert, who was performing in the theatre, during an exhibition of works by Ibels in the gallery.
