[summer 1941], also signed by John Anderson (Lord President of the Council), Arthur Greenwood (minister without portfolio, responsible for reconstruction policy), Ernest Bevin (minister of labour), Maxwell Aitken, 1st Baron Beaverbrook (minster of supply), Clement Attlee (lord privy seal), Kingsley Wood (chancellor of the exchequer) and Anthony Eden (foreign secretary), the photograph by Bassano (signed in pencil at lower right), the image 229 x 260mm, laid onto board, 343 x 385mm (the mount somewhat worn). Provenance : Sothebys, 19 July 1994, lot 336.
