A LARGE GROUP OF MILITARY, CIVIL AND ALTHORP ESTATE ITEMS 19TH 20TH CENTURY Including a Medical Staff Officer's cocked hat in tin; an Althorp estate fireman's Shandon Mason brass helmet and axe, the latter by Moore, Tichburne St., the butt with reversed Spencer monogram, hardwood grip-scales, and brown leather belt-sheath; a Cambridge University Rifle Volunteers brown leather belt and pouch, circa 1860, with a second later pouch; a Royal Engineer officer's bullion sword belt; a pair of mid-19th century silver bullion epaulettes with Spencer crested buttons and Earl's coronets; a Sam Browne with two ammunition pouches and a Webley revolver holster; a foreign service helmet plume in tin; a First World War period campaign wash basin and blow-up pillow; a large quantity of military and household buttons and post-war racing event badges; and other items Cocked hat 6¾ in.
