1977 Ferrari 512 BB Titre de circulation français Châssis n° F1202BB 21901 - 4 GT italiennes d'un amateur bourguignon - Dans la même famille depuis 1994 - État de préservation rare - Un projet exaltant Après avoir appartenu, à partir de 1990, à un passionné d'automobiles de Bézier, ayant un des plus beaux palmarès en courses historiques sous le pseudonyme "John of B.", cette voiture a été achetée en juin 1994 par son propriétaire actuel auprès de Prestige Import, à Toulouse. Arrivé en France à l'âge de 18 ans, cet authentique amateur d'origine italienne s'est passionné pour les voitures de son pays, sous leur forme la plus sportive. Ainsi, il a un jour avoué à son fils que, à côté de la Lamborghini Miura qui restait la voiture qu'il admirait le plus, la Berlinetta Boxer était la seule Ferrari qu'il désirait, avec sa forme ramassée qu'il trouvait sublime. Son fils se souvient du jour de 1994 où ils se sont rendus aux établissements Calderoni, alors réparateur agréé Ferrari à Lyon, pour prendre livraison de la voiture : son père en avait pris le volant et lui-même suivait la belle flèche rouge, au volant de la BMW M5 familiale. Lors de son achat, les courroies de distribution avaient été précédemment remplacées, et les joints de culasse refaits. La dernière facture date d'ailleurs de 1994, par Calderoni. En effet, la voiture a été ensuite très peu utilisée et, en 2005, elle est restée immobilisée dans le garage à cause d'une panne du système d'alarme. Aujourd'hui, le compteur affiche 60 942 km, peut-être d'origine, et son état est bien préservé. La carrosserie basse et effilée, grâce à la position centrale du 12-cylindres à plat, affiche les bas de caisse noirs typiques de ce modèle et, à l'intérieur, les sièges en cuir bicolores noir et rouge sont encore superbes. Il est probable que ce soit ceux d'origine. Comme le montre une plaque d'identification la voiture été précédemment en Allemagne. Vendue avec ses manuels d'utilisation et de distribution, son cric d'origine dans son sac de cuir, cette 512 BB mérite une grande révision pour reprendre la route et faire à nouveau gronder son beau 12-cylindres 5 litres sur les rubans d'asphalte.
