Lithograph on Arches Ingres paper with watermarks, image size 16 1/4 x 20 in. (41.1 x 50.7 cm), framed. Condition: Margins over 1 1/4 inches with deckled edges, pale mat burn and toning, several soft fox marks. Provenance: A private New York and Massachusetts collection. N.B. This work was printed in both a black edition and in color, and was meant to be part of L'Album d'Estampes Originales de la Galerie Vollard. The album never came to fruition. Cézanne based the composition on his 1875-76 painting, Baigneurs au repos, which currently resides in the Barnes Foundation, Philadelphia.
