Inspection under UV light reveals areas of retouching to the bright red central elements, one area along the centre right edge (approx. 10cm) and another in the lower left corner (approx. 5cm.). There are networks of craquelure throughout, most notably to the red central elements. The surface is richly textured and the pigments are bright and fresh. This work is in overall good condition.
