De Anime beatitudine - Alexander ACHILLINUS. De Universalibus - Alexander of MACEDONIA. De Mirabilibus Indie . Bologna: Benedictus Hector, 1516. 2° (296 x 203mm). Diagram of alchemical vessel on title, printer's device on last leaf. An Italian physician and philosopher, Achillini was a fervent disciple of Aristotle and Averroes, and, for this, was called "the second Aristotle". It was first published at Bologna in 1501. Not in Adams, BLSTC Italian , Caillet, or NUC.
