1981 Renault 5 Le Car Van No reserve Carte grise française Châssis n°VF1122400C0057110 - Véritable collector - Environ 450 exemplaires produits - Voiture originale et décalée - Sans réserve Proposée par le carrossier français Heuliez à partir d'août 1979, le Renault 5 Le Car Van offrait un aménagement s'inspirant des Vans américains qui faisaient fureur à cette époque. C'est essentiellement la partie arrière dont le traitement innovait puisque les vitres de custode de la version de série étaient supprimées au profit d'un panneau en polyester injecté complété d'un hublot cerclé d'aluminium. Le hayon était d'une seule pièce en polyester, recevait un hublot rectangulaire et supportait la roue de secours qui était fixée à l'extérieur, sous une housse. Il s'ouvrait sur un vaste compartiment arrière débarrassé de la banquette et habillé de moquette. Visuellement, la carrosserie noire était soulignée d'un bandeau arc en ciel et l'ensemble reposait sur les jantes optionnelles AMYL. La production de cette automobile originale est estimée à environ 450 unités. L'exemplaire présenté est basé sur une version TS de 1981, immatriculée en novembre de la même année. Il a été acheté par André Trigano en 2003 à son précédent propriétaire, un célèbre malletier parisien qui la possédait depuis 1985. Elle affiche 69 318 km au compteur et s'avère bien conservée, seule sa peinture noire ayant été refaite. Nul doute que tout amateur de Renault ne pourra que fondre face à l'allure décalée, spatiale et originale de la Le Car Van. Nous informons les acheteurs que l'ensemble des véhicules de la collection ont été peu utilisés ces dernières années s'agissant d'une collection muséale. Ils sont donc vendus en l'état, sans contrôle technique et devront bénéficier d'une révision générale avant de reprendre la route. It is essentially the rear part whose treatment was innovative since the rear windows of the standard version were removed in favor of an injected polyester panel completed with an aluminium encircled porthole. The tailgate was a single piece of polyester, received a rectangular porthole and supported the spare wheel which was attached to the outside under a cover. It opened on a large rear compartment, free of the bench and covered with carpet. The black body was underlined with a rainbow band and the whole rested on the optional AMYL rims. The production of this original automobile is estimated at about 450 units. The example presented is based on a TS version from 1981, registered in November of the same year. It was bought by André Trigano in 2003 from its previous owner, a famous Parisian trunk maker who owned it since 1985. It displays 69,318 km on the odometer and is well preserved, only its black paint had been redone. There is no doubt that no Renault enthusiast will be able to resist the spatial and original look of the Van Car. We inform buyers that all the vehicles in the collection have been little used during the last years as they are part of a museum collection.
