YEATS, William Butler Wheels and Butterflies , London: Macmillan and Co., 1934. 8°, half title, title with woodcut vignette (occasional light spotting, mainly to preliminaries), original green cloth, gilt design of masks stamped to upper cover, spine gilt lettered (edges a little rubbed), dust-jacket (a little rubbed and thumbmarked). FIRST EDITION. Wade 175. YEATS, William Butler A Full Moon in March , London: Macmillan and Co., 1935. 8°, half title, original green cloth, spine lettered in gilt, dust-jacket (one or two short tears, edges lightly rubbed), inscribed on front blank "With love to Winnie and Norman from Cissie 1935". FIRST EDITION. Cecily Isabel Fairfield (1892-1983), ("Cissie"), used the nom de plume of Rebecca West. She was a novelist, journalist and critic, and published eight novels. She began a turbulent ten-year love affair with H. G. Wells in 1913, and bore him a son. She was described by George Bernard Shaw as handling a pen "as brilliantly as ever I could and much more savagely". Wade 182.
