Half title, frontispiece by Jack Butler Yeats, title printed in red and black, one-page publisher's advertisement at the front. (Some very light marginal browning.) Original green cloth, spine lettered in gilt with publisher's name in capitals and lower case letters (extremities lightly rubbed, corners a little bumped). FIRST EDITION. Wade 8 (speculates this variant binding may be a second issue). ASSOCIATION COPY. The front free endpaper is inscribed "Alida Klemantaski/2 Tanza Road/Hampstead/1911." Alida Klemantaski was wife of poet Harold Edward Monro (1879-1932), founder of The Poetry Review and, in 1912, of "The Poetry Bookshop" in Bloomsbury.
