Dodge, Chief Engineer, Union Pacific R.R., 3rd from left is Sidney Dillon, Director (later President of Union Pacific), 5th from left is Thomas C. Durant, Vice Pres., Union Pacific;" #233 "Construction Train of the U.P.R.R." Shows track laying crews seated at rest w/train in background & #234 "T.C. Durant, Esq. & Heads of Depts., U.P.R.R.." Historic view (featured in "Stereo World" article) showing the men standing by a diamond-stack locomotive with a town in background. ("Ed. Burchard Collection" imprint on verso). Yellow mounts.
