Engraved map, lithographic title-vignette, 6 lithographic vignettes of which 5 on india paper and mounted, lithographic view on india paper and mounted, 10 tinted lithographic plates with their printed caption overlays; all lithographs with the publisher's blindstamp. (Spotting, some short marginal tears.) Original drab paper portfolio, upper side with engraved vignette and title within an engraved greek-key frame, original printed statement of contents and price mounted on the verso (small chip near the spine head, a few short tears and light creasing at the extremities). FIRST EDITION, IN THE ORIGINAL PORTFOLIO. THE SPECTACULAR PANORAMIC PLATES COMPLETE WITH THEIR PRINTED OVERLAYS. A REMARKABLE SURVIVAL. This magnificent panorama, showing Athens viewed from the Hill of the Nymphs, was produced following King Otho's accession to the Greek throne. Stademann had been secretary to the regency that governed Greece during Otho's minority. When joined, the panorama measures nearly six meters.
