SEMINARIO VESCOVILE, PADUA]. Tabulae Geographicae, quibus Universa Geographia Vetus . Padua: Stamperia del Seminario, 1699, 4 parts in one volume 2° (510 x 370mm). Four section titles, 83 (of 84) engraved double-page maps, including one folding and one single-page, the majority of maps in part one hand-coloured including some highlighted in gold, a few maps of smaller dimensions, mounted on guards throughout. (Lacking first map 'Orbis Vetus', two section titles lacking lower margin, some light marginal staining, repaired marginal tear to first title). Contemporary vellum boards (wear to extremities). A handsome copy of this universal geography, incorporating the work of Philip Cluver (1580-1623). The atlas contains maps after Ortelius, Cluver, du Val and Sanson; with clear impressions and wide margins. (cf. Phillips Atlases 5644).
