ACQUARELLI bone china dinnerware by Richard Ginori features a beautiful series of unusual designs and is a hard to find pattern that was only produced from 1991 to 1995. In Italian, "acquarelli" means "watercolors" and the soft colors of the scenic views on the dinnerware were based on the watercolors of famed Italian ceramicist Guido Andloviz, an artist whose work in the 1930s propelled him to prominence. A number of Andloviz' watercolors appear on each piece of china -- some are architectural, others are of boats or gardens. Often a small lemon and foliage appears on the china as well.
