(10), (3), 4-511, (1); (5), 516-1068, (94), pp. Extra engraved title, 2 titles printed in red and black with engraved vignette, 1 folding engraved portrait, 1 folding engraved genealogical table, 1 folding engraved plate, 10 partly folding engraved maps (one with tears or mended tears in the foldings), 10 text engravings, 3 engraved headpieces, 1 engraved illustrated initial, 1 printed folding table. Contemporary vellum, worn, somewhat soiled, manuscript spine labels. Some minor wormimg in inner margin of vol. I. Minor foxing. Signature on title of J. J. Lieungh. 2 volumes. Adrian Reland (1667-1718), Dutch Orientalist, geographer, cartographer, professor of Oriental languages and ecclesiastical antiquities at the university of Utrecht.
