Hand-coloured engraved wallmap of Poland on nine separate sheets, each sheet 500 x 590mm, making up a wallmap 1410 x 1650mm. Title set at upper left, keys at upper right and lower left corners, the map set in a "framed" border. (some light dust soiling and a few marginal tears to outer blank margins.) A fine 19th century survey of Poland published by Artaria and Co., one of the foremost map publishers in central Europe in the early 19th century. Artaria was founded in 1770 in Vienna by Carlo and Francesco after the war of the Spanish Succession. They specialised in fine multi-sheet copper-plate engraved maps of the regions of Europe. (9)
