Lors de la quatrième exposition impressionniste de 1879, il présente dix tableaux et dix fusains inspirés de l'Algérie et de la Normandie. Il expose régulièrement au Salon de la Société des Artistes français puis à la Société Nationale des Beaux-arts. Albert LEBOURG began studying art at the local School of Fine arts and obtained, in 1871, a professorship of drawing at the Society of Fine Arts of Algiers, where he stayed from 1872 to 1877. At the fourth Impressionist exhibition in 1879, he has ten tables and ten charcoal drawings inspired by Algeria and Normandy. He exhibited regularly at the Salon of French Artists Society and at the Societe Nationale des Beaux-Arts
