Provenance : Paul Rand (1914-1996; small signature, faded, on front blank). FIRST EDITION, LIMITED TO 255 COPIES, THIS ONE OF 200 ON BRISTOL PAPER, apparently in a variant binding. The celebrated American graphic designer PAUL RAND'S COPY. Copies on Bristol paper were normally issued in a blue cloth binding with blue endpapers; this one is in a black cloth binding with black endpapers, which was used for the 50 signed copies on Holland Van Gelder Zonen.
