FINE SEA CHART OF THE SOUTH CHINA SEA, with a stretch of the east coast of China including the present site of Shanghai towards the northern end and south to opposite the northern tip of Taiwan. Nagasaki harbor and a small portion of Japan appear in the upper right corner. The chart and soundings were compiled by the pilot, Eskild Juel. This map also comes from the "secret atlas," the sixth volume of the Zee-Faakel (see preceding lot).
