Große, tiefe Platte mit schmaler Fahne. Im Spiegel zeigt ein rechteckiger Rahmen ein zeitgenössisches Gastmahl. Es handelt sich dabei wohl um die letzte Szene aus der Geschichte vom verlorenen Sohn. Um eine üppig gedeckte Tafel sitzen zahlreiche zu Gruppen komponierte Personen. Einige sind beim Schmausen zu sehen, andere spielen auf Lauten oder sind einander zugetan. Auffällig ist die häufige Darstellung von Teilen eines großen Majolika-Services. Eine zarte Landschaftsdarstellung, die wohl auf die weiten Reisen des Sohnes anspielt, zieht sich um den Rahmen. Weißer Fond, Bemalung in zarten Farben in Blau, Orange, Gelb und Grün. Chips rückseitig am Rand. Large, deep dish with narrow border. The centre depicts a contemporary banquet in a rectangular frame. This probably illustrates the last scene of the story of The Lost Son. Numerous guests, ar ranged in groups, are seated around an opulently laid out banquet table. Some feast, others play the lute or face each other in conversation. Of note is the detailing of the table which is set with a large maiolica dinner service. Around the scene landscape scenes, painted in soft shades, probably allude to the far travels of the son. On a white ground, painting in soft shades of blue, orange, yellow and green. Rim chips on the reverse. Note I: The literary source for this scene is the parable of The Lost Son from the New Testament.
