Small repaired tear to right margin, minor damage to upper margin, some dampstains and foxing to lower margin, also affecting the coat-of-arms, some foxing to upper part. Signed "ED. WILLMANN DELT. et SCULPT." lower left. This edition without the title "Paris" under the lithograph. Fine bird's eye view of Paris with Notre Dame in the center. Willmann (1820-1877), engraver from Karlsruhe. He was a student of C. L. Frommel and later a professor at the Frankfurt School of Fine Arts. In 1870 he became Professor at the Academy of Karlsruhe and also appointed engraver to the court. In 1860 Willmann won a golden Medal for this view of Paris.
