Beschreibung:

Manufactured by DWM for commercial and military sales in Switzerland, these early examples were sold commercially prior to the Luger's military adoption by the Swiss Army in 1901. The serial numbers of Swiss military contract Model 1900 Lugers are between 2001-5000. This specimen's serial number of "2223", places it early in DWM's production for the Swiss Army's contract. This Model 1900 Luger like the others during its production is comprised of "Old Model" parts. Receiver is stamped with the Swiss cross in sunburst over the chamber with the small cross (Federal Arms Factory, Berne) proof on the left hand side of the receiver, followed by the Swiss Ordnance cross over "V" proof indicating Swiss inspection by Herr Vogelsang. Matching numbers include the frame, trigger sideplate, trigger, locking bolt, grip safety, receiver, barrel, toggle links, breechblock, and checkered wood grips. Swiss magazine with disc is unmarked. Underneath the right side of the grip is a "C.K.C" import stamp followed by "7.65MM SWITZERLAND", part of the "C.K.C" import stamp has been obliterated and is illegible. Complete with a 1903 dated Swiss leather holster marked "CHR. BLASER/ 1903/ BERN". CONDITION: Metal components retain the vast majority of their reapplied blue finish, showing minute nicks and areas of pitting underneath the finish. Strawed components have also been refinished and show wear, with areas of minor pitting beneath the finish. Mirror bore with sharp lands and grooves throughout. Checkered walnut grips are excellent, showing little wear aside from some light smoothing and few minor indentations to the checkering. Swiss leather holster is excellent, showing some light wear to the finish and minor age cracking. Overall, this is a fine example of a Model 1900 Swiss military contract Luger. MLW Name Value Accessories Holster Barrel Length 4 - 3/4" Caliber/Bore .30 Luger FFL Status Curio & Relic Manufacturer DWM Model Model 1900 Luger Paperwork Serial Number 1223
