Watts LINCOLNSHIRE, Grimsby, Grimsby Municipal College, a bronze award medal, unsigned, arms, rev. wreath, named (440 Yds Handicap (Under 14), F. Brannam, 69 1/5 Secs., 1923), 39mm, 30.41g; YORKSHIRE, Hull, Tercentenary of the Birth of Andrew Marvell, 1921, a silver medal by T. Sheppard for J.A. Restall, bust three-quarters right, rev. façade of the Old Grammar School, hallmarked Birmingham 1920, 45mm, 41.20g (BHM 4160; E 1972; Yorkshire NS Transactions, vol. II, p.205) [2]. Mint state, latter with sharp rims; in cases of issue £60-80 Footnote Grimsby Municipal College, Eleanor street, opened in October 1895. Hull Grammar School was founded in the first half of the 14th century; the building shown on the medal was opened in Leicester street in 1891.
