Paris: Stoupe for Guillaume Debure, An VIII (1800). 8° (197 x 123 mm). Contemporary French red straight-grained morocco gilt, covers with gilt frames composed of a diamond-and-chain roll between two gilt fillets, flat spine in six compartments, the second bearing the title, in the others a large sunburst, inner gilt lozenge-and-oval roll depicting emblems ‘de la Paix et des Arts’, gilt edges. Provenance: Anatole Basseville (bookplate).
