Beschreibung:

With curved nickel-plated blade cut with two narrow fullers for most of its length along each side, the forte etched with crowned cypher of Nicholas II in a cartouche above stamped maker's name 'F. Fichte, Solingen' on one side, and with the Imperial eagle in a cartouche above maker's marks and 'W.K. & Co.' on the other, regulation gilt-brass hilt (loose, gilding worn) cast and chased with laurel decoration and comprising a knuckle-guard extending to form a downcurved ring quillon and engraved 'For Bravery' in Russian along each side, the latter stamped beneath with circular hilt maker's mark of Slava, Moscow, a star between, pommel with cypher of Nicholas II in an oval on the back above a border of laurel, threaded oval pommel-cap with applied red enamelled (some damage) Order of St. Anne fourth class, and ribbed hard-rubber grip (chipped at the top), in its nickel-plated scabbard (minor rust damage) with two rings for suspension 79.5 cm. blade
