A first series consisting of two volumes was published before the war. The 14 special numbers are devoted to Max Ernst Esteve, Léger, Matisse, Miró, Moore, Picasso, Chagall, Calder, Chagall Monumental, Marini, Tanning, Kandinsky and Rouault. In number 44 the Rosenquist print is inscribed by Rosenquist. A first series comprising seven numbers had been published from 1938-1939. Complete sets are virtually unobtainable.
