Beschreibung:

The legend that is the Porsche 911 requires little introduction - suffice to say that the basic layout has remained loved and in production from its initial inception right up until the present day. The competition cars of the early 1970's were so potent and had such a stylistically pure form that they have been copied many times since. These are the 1973 2.7 litre RS replica's and they vary hugely in quality. Fortunately, we have done the hard work for you and are delighted to present another excellent example from the stable of the now respected Porsche builder, Paul Cockell. Originally produced from the factory in 1991 as a Carrera 2, this car has spent its life as a well cared for 911 and is complemented by a full Porsche service history. It benefits from a comprehensive full engine rebuild as well as a suspension and brake overhaul and could be classed as in near concours condition. It has been converted back to 1973 911 RS specification by 911 Rennsport Ltd including modifications to the exterior such as original steel wings with backdated extensions, rear quarter extensions with torsion bar covers and a lightweight RS long nose bonnet. Both bumpers are lightweight RS items as is the ducktail deck lid. The lights have not been forgotten with the correct units front and rear. The wheels are genuine Porsche Fuchs alloys and the door frames, handles and window surrounds have been polished. The interior has been completely stripped and replaced with a bespoke 1973 RS specification Perlon carpet set, the bucket seats are new and all this comes together with a Momo Prototipo steering wheel. This fabulous car benefits from all the cult looks of the original 1973 911 RS with the bonus of having a 3600cc engine, power steering, a tiptonic gearbox, factory Porsche Brembo brakes with ABS and fully adjustable coil-over suspension. Race car looks with everyday usability.
