Beschreibung:

After a relatively short production run of just fifteen months for the TR5, itself a most impressive car with a 120mph top speed, Triumph announced its new model, the TR6, with significantly changed styling from the design boards of Karmann, the long-established German coachbuilders. The new six-cylinder car was fuel-injected for the home market but for the North American market was supplied with twin Zenith-Stromberg carburetors. The TR6 enjoyed a seven year production run and, even when the altogether new TR7 had been announced, the market for the more rugged, earlier style car remained, and the TR6 was built alongside its new sister model for nearly two years. The most popular TR sports car ever, the TR6 sold some 94,000 units, about ninety percent destined for the USA. It remained in production into mid-1976. This car, a 1974 example presented in Mimosa Yellow with a black interior, is representative of the breed and presents well. It comes with various receipts for repair work and shall offer an opportunity to drive one of the finest and most enjoyable British sporting roadsters of all time.
