Equipé de 4 arbres à cames en tête entraînés par courroie, ce moteur transversal, gavé par 4 carburateurs développe 255 ch ; il est couplé à une boîte à 5 rapports, elle même reliée à un pont ZF autobloquant. Grâce à son poids limité de 1150 kg, la " bombinette " peut s'autoriser des performances de premier ordre ; 250 km/h en vitesse de pointe et seulement 6,4 secondes pour le 0 à 100 km/h, de très bons chiffres pour l'époque. Cet exemplaire construit pendant la première année de production propose une agréable combinaison de couleurs: une livrée gris argenté associée à l'intérieur en cuir crème et moquette rouge, dans lequel on appréciera la présence d'une climatisation. La voiture a récemment connu une révision mécanique en profondeur, comprenant le remplacement de la courroie de distribution et de l'embrayage, assortie du changement de nombreuses pièces; 75520 km s'affichent au compteur kilométrique. En bon état de fonctionnement, cette automobile présente un sympathique état d'origine. But the most innovative feature was Ferrari's first commercially produced mid-engined V8 - a new block of 3.0-litres, designed and manufactured at Maranello. Equipped with belt-driven four overhead camshafts, the transversely-located engine featured four carburetors and developed 255bhp, mated to a 5-speed gearbox connected to a ZF limited-slip diff. With its low weight of 1150kg, the 'bombinette' was capable of a 250km/h top whack and took just 6.4 seconds for 0 to 100km/h sprint, all very good figures for the time. This particular car, manufactured during the first year of production, offers a great combination of colors: silver grey livery associated with cream leather interior and red carpets, and the car comes with air-conditioning. The car has recently undergone a thorough mechanical overhaul, including the replacement of the timing belt and clutch, along with replacements of several other parts. The odometer displays a believable 75,520km. In good working condition, this car is in a nice original condition.
