Zeppelins: pre-First World War, First World War, LZ 127 Graf Zeppelin, LZ 129 Hindenburg, and LZ 130 Graf Zeppelin II An interesting collection of press and other photographic images, with some rare photographs of early Zeppelins including Zeppelin IV surrounded by mounted lancers!, Zeppelin II emerging from its shed on the Bodensee, the first launching of ZR III, 28th April 1924, prior to its departure to Lakehurst where it was renamed the Los Angeles, First World War Zeppelin crew members with their French captors after the destruction of their ship, the L49, at Bourbonne-Les-Bains on the 20th of October 1917, further pictures of the wrecked Zeppelin; the Graf Zeppelin with damage to the tail surfaces after its first transatlantic crossing, the navigator at his chart table, air to ground views taken during the 1927 round-the-world voyage, a Klemm K.L.25 being loaded aboard the Graf Zeppelin at Friedrichshafen, ground handling parties, construction details, various images of Hugo Eckener including one with the doctor being greeted by Colonel Lindberg; the Hindenburg during construction, air to air and ground to air views at Lakehurst, with incomplete 1936 Olympic logo, the catastrophe at Lakehurst and other illustrations (100 approx. contained in three ringbinders) See Illustrations (Samples)
