MANUSCRIPT ON PAPER [Eastern Europe, 17th-18th century] 4 o (205 x 155 mm). [1 blank] + 303 leaves, with various old Hebrew and erroneous modern pencil foliations. Light brown ink. Ashkenazic semi-cursive script. Probably by the same scribe who copied Neubauer nos. 58, 75, 77, 88, 100 and 103 (lots 141, 134, 137, 73, 110 and 140). With printed architectural borders in the style of the plates used by the Amsterdam printer Joseph Athias, pasted onto the paper to decorate the titles on fols. [1]r, 224r (largely detached), [286]r (without text). (Numerous marginal notes folded inside before the book was trimmed by an earlier binder, margins still relatively wide, some staining.)
