Both signed W.C. 77 Chair one: small chips to the joints of the seat back and sides (possibly an old repair). A few scattered scuffs and scrapes along some edges and the base. Chair two: The left arm is joined by a small piece of wood and there is a black putty filling a possible crack that crosses the joint, approximate 1 inch in length. The left side of the chair appears sunfaded (lighter surface). The left arm has a few water spots at the top. A few scattered scuffs and scrapes along some edges and the base. Right side leg with a small area of scratches, approximately 1 inch x 1/2 inch. The base support has dark splatter stains. White line/scuff on the interior of the base support, approx 5 inches in length.
