First edition, early issue with p. 222-224 incorrectly numbered. Contemporary calf over marbled boards, the upper cover with the title in manuscript. 12 3/4 x 7 1/2 inches (32.7 x 19.5 cm); 220 pp., with the 3 pp. "Acts and Resolutions" misnumbered 122-124, retains blanks. Bookplate of the Northern Academy of Arts and Sciences to pastedown and the discrete blindstamp of Dartmouth College Library to title and other places, stamp of Bar Association to verso of title, overall a very clean copy but with some faint foxing to first and final leaves, the binding sound but hinges tender and the spine with small losses.
