TWO PAIRS OF ROMAN GOLD EARRINGS 2ND-4TH CENTURY A.D. One pair with large gold flower set with central agate, gold foliate bar below from which hang three wire pendants strung with stone bead, S-shaped suspension hook behind, 1½ in. (4.5 cm.) long; another pair with square box settings containing square green glass inlays, oval wire hoop, ½ in. (1.4 cm.) long; two silver spiral earrings; a pair of hollow gold earrings of 'leech' form with gold wire at extremity twisted together, 5/8 in. (1.5 cm.) across max.; a hollow gold pomegranate pendant with suspension loop, 7/8 in. (2.1 cm.) long, both mid-1st millennium B.C.; a Phoenician yellow glass head bead pendant wearing wreath, with applied blue eyes, hair and suspension loop, 4th-3rd Century B.C., 7/8 in. (2.3 cm.) long; and a Roman bone relief plaque with a panther and acanthus leaf, repaired, circa 1st-2nd Century A.D., 3¾ in. (9.4 cm.) long max. (11)
