TWO GLASS SNUFF BOTTLES 1780-1900 The first transparent bottle of amber color, 1850-1900, is carved with a tethered falcon on one side, a chained dog on the reverse, and mask-and-ring handles on the narrow sides .The second opaque overlay bottle, 1780-1850, is carved through the black and red layers to the white ground with 'antiques', and mask-and-ring handles on the narrow sides. 2 5/8 in. (6.7 cm.) high, hardstone and jadeite stoppers(2)
