Title: Twelve Wood-Block Prints of Kitagawa Utamaro illustrating the Process of Silk Culture Author: Utamaro, Kitagawa Place: San Francisco Publisher: Book Club of California Date: 1965 Description: Introduction by Jack Hillier Illustrated with 12 collotype plates after Utamaro (colored with blocks engraved by Irma Grabhorn) from originals in the collection of Edwin & Irma Grabhorn. (Folio) parchment-backed patterned boards, gilt-lettered spine label. One of 450 copies printed by the Grabhorn Press. Inscribed on the front free endpaper, likely in the hand of Jane Grabhorn: "With most sincere regards and gratitude for B.S. and Dorothy Feigenbaum, from Robert and Jane Grabhorn - December 3, 1965."
