Twelve Inro And Two Tobacco Pouches 18th And 19th Century A four case red lacquer inro carved in low relief with scholars seated at tables, black lacquer interior, signed Zonsei ; a four case tsuishu inro decorated with woodlanders beneath pine, nashiji interior, an attached double gourd netsuke; a two case ivory inro carved in low relief with a dragon; a five case inro in iroe hiramakie , hirame and kimpun with the stations of the Tokaido, nashiji interiors; a three case inro with chrysanthemum mon on a gyobu nashiji ground; a two case wood inro carved with a dragon in low relief, an attached wood netsuke of a peach, signed Sho...saku ; a four case carved black lacquer inro depicting Choyu and Koseikiko, an attached pressed horn manju depicting a Rakan and various masks; a four case red lacquer tsuishu inro depicting tea ceremony utensils; a four case inro decorated in iroe hiramakie and takamakie and gold foil on a fundame ground, depicting a horse race; another with a karako and a lady playing among rocks, signed Kakosai ; a four case inro in iroe hiramakie with a sake drinker; an unusual four case inro decorated with paulownia in takamakie and engraved on gilt and silver square panels; a leather tobacco pouch, an attached ojime of an oni , signed Tomokazu and a netsuke of an oni washing Rakan in a tub, signed Gyokko ; and a leather tobacco pouch with a clasp depicting a karako and Daruma doll in silver and gilt takazogan , signed Kikugawa and kao , an attached ivory netsuke of a karako with a snowman modelled as Daruma, signed Shuroku 3in.
