However, the plates likely were issued at different times than the printed sections were produced, and may have been available only at an added cost; even the best of copies are found without the full complement. The leaves of Privilege in Vols. III and VI are not present; the errata leaf at the end of Vol. II, often lacking, is present. Bookplates of Albert May Todd. Lot Amendments Condition: Spines worn, joints cracked, top 4" of spine strip of second volume missing; occasional darkening to pages, folding plate torn without loss, bookseller's catalogue entry taped to front endpaper of Vol. I, very good, worthy of rebinding.
