Beschreibung:

Tiffany Studios Moorish Style Bronze and Leaded and Blown Favrile Glass Chandelier Circa 1910 The central domed geometric shade in semi-translucent amber colored glass with an amber turtle back tile, hung from short chains with spherules, tags stamped TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK; six bell-form ribbed shades in translucent amber glass, gold iridized, each signed L.C.T. Diameter 24 inches. C
Metal mount: appears to be in generally good condition; the four-light socket cluster possibly a later replacement; each light socket is marked WEBER PATENTS; lily-form shades: each appears to be in generally good condition, however, one of the shades what appears to be a hairline crack located towards the bottom edge, this shade when light is transmitted through it shows the 'hairline' and can be felt with a fingernail, it does not show through when light is transmitted when directed at it; each of the shades appears to be consistent, ie - well marched; there are some particle inclusions embedded in the glass and tiny pinhead size internally trapped air bubbles, in the making and not of any consequence; leaded shade: appears to be in generally good condition, there are approximately two small glass segments with hairline cracks; shade is nice and tight; there is wear and rubbing to the patina; there are 'straw' marks to the turtleback tile, in the making; the interior side of this tile has been 'chiseled', as made; the shade is in the round
