Tiffany Studios Bronze and Favrile Glass Twelve-Light Lily Lamp First quarter of the 20th century The naturalistic base formed as a cluster of lily stems with downturned necks ending in light sockets and translucent amber colored lily shades, with petaled lower rims, gold iridized, base stamped TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK 382, eight shades signed L.C.T., four later replaced shades signed Lundberg Studios 1990. Height of lamp 21 inches, height of shade 4 1/2 inches. C Property from the Estate of a Long Island Collector
Shades: one of the LCT shades has been restored: it has a large V-shaped piece which has been broken off and poorly glued back into place; another of the LCT shades has the appearance of having a large V-shaped hairline, when examined on the interior side, however, it appears to have been caused in the making and is not really a condition issue; the other six LCT shades appear to be in good condition: no rim chips to fitters, no hair lines, etc.; one of the four Lundberg Studio shades has a crack extending the full length of the shade; the remaining three shades appear to be in good condition; one of the light sockets is not working; two lack porcelain sleeves, and all of the remaining sleeves are later replacements (not original) Base: nice uniformly mottled brown and green patina; has been re-wired; two of the original white porcelain socket sleeves have been replaced; lacks the original on/off switch; it is now fitted with a push button switch
