Title: Three original black and white photographs of Miller and his wife Hoki Author: Miller, Henry Place: [Pacific Palisades, CA] Publisher: Date: [1968] Description: Gelatin silver-print photos showing different scenes: one credited to Elyse Lewin on verso (7¼x9½"); other two credited to Yukichi Watabe, one with numerous inked notes and rubberstamps including various return locations: Jon Webb, The Outsider, Loujon Press...Albuquerque, NM, inked signed "Please return to Henry Miller" (appears to be in Miller's hand), No. 4 (presumably for The Outsider No. 4 and definitely used for the Loujon Press book Insomnia at Large by Miller, etc. (9x6"), and other Watabe photo (9¾x6¾"). Nice group of photos, each taken at Miller’s house in Pacific Palisades in 1968. These were originally obtained in PBA Sales 137 and 151, The Personal Archive of Henry Miller offered in 1997-98. Lot Amendments Condition: Slight handling wear, else near fine or better. Item number: 175597
