Mitchell is replying to a request to sign a collection of cigarette cards which he is duly returns. Mitchell was a member of the M.C.C. team on the infamous 'Bodyline' tour to Australia 1932/33. He made his Test debut in the fourth Test at Brisbane in which he took three wickets in England's victory by six wickets. His fifth and final Test was against South Africa at Lord's in 1935
