Beschreibung:

The original Porsche 911, with its famous and durable design, was introduced in the Autumn of 1963 and built until 1989. From its inception, the 911 was modified both by private racing teams and the Porsche factory itself for racing, rallying and other competition. The original 911 series is often cited as the most successful sports/racing car ever, especially when its variations are included; namely the powerful 911-derived 935 which won Le Mans as well as other major sports cars races. In 1967, Porsche introduced the 911T model and subsequently a 911E version; however the 911S was the most desirable and with only 3,174 Porsche 911S's manufactured, good quality surviving examples are rare and highly collectable. This original, low mileage and well preserved classic fuel injected Porsche 911 2.7 S is finished in the lovely period colour of Sahara Beige together with a beautifully presented black interior. The car has been lovingly owned by a gentleman in the Netherlands since 1998. The car was imported to the UK in 2016 after the Dutchman had passed away. Originally supplied by Porsche in Florida on 28th February 1975, it was fitted with the rare dealer optional air-conditioning made by VPC (Volkswagen Products Corp.) Accompanying this example is a history file containing records that show the previous owner spent €63,788 on maintaining, service and recommissioning this exceptionally original 911S at a Porsche Specialist, Motron, in Kenkum, Netherlands. This lovely example is supplied with a V5C registration document, an MoT test certificate which expires in April 2019, the original Dutch registration documents and the original 1975 ownership and maintenance manual together with the Netherlands Porsche Club Certificate of Authenticity and Membership. The 911S is not only a great car to drive but with the values of 911's, particularly the S, on the rise, this very good example can also be regarded as an extremely sound investment.
