Beschreibung:

The MGB was launched in May 1962 to replace the MGA. Introduced as a four-cylinder roadster, a coupé with 2+2 seating was added in 1965 with production continuing until October 1980. The MGB GT sported a ground-breaking design by Pininfarina with the launch of its sporty 'hatchback' style. By combining the sloping rear window with the rear deck lid, the GT offered the utility of a hatchback while retaining the style and shape of a coupé. Acceleration of the GT was slightly slower than that of the Roadster due to its increased weight although top speed was improved by 5mph to 105mph due to better aerodynamics. This Flame Red MGB GT is offered in excellent original condition and is described by the vendor as "great, drives as one's MG should". The vehicle has been well looked after by the current owner and comes supplied with a full year's MoT test certificate and road fund licence. At no reserve, this model represents a very useable and reliable entrance level classic and is ready to be driven home straight after the sale.
