Upper wrapper (function as title), (2, prefatory note, verso blank), (2, verso blank), (1)-45, (last blank) pp. Worn original printed wrappers, partly spotted, upper with hole in lower part, no spine as issued. Sir Richard Carnac Temple, 2nd Baronet (1850 1931) was the British Chief Commissioner of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and an anthropological writer. The Andamanese languages are the indigenous languages of the Andaman Islands, spoken by the Andamanese Negritos. The Andaman and Nicobar Islands are a group of islands at the juncture of the Bay of Bengal and Andaman Sea, and are a Union Territory of India. From the library of Swedish antiquarian bookdealer Björn Löwendahl (1941-2013).
