France circa 1740. Carved wood, painted and gilded over stucco. Curved Louis XV bracket clock shape with hinged lid. Richly decorated with gilded relief decoration in Régence style. On the front goddess Victoria enthroned on the globe. Signs of age, paint loss. Lid crowning missing.
